The fact that you're not even willing to consider that you're doing something wrong in the way you respond to your video comments is rather telling. I'm an outside party looking at your situation, wanting to have a discussion, but you're VERY defensive in pretty much every single one of your responses to me.

And, in the end, it's me for "being one of them"?! Goodness.

I'll leave you with your situation and wish you all the best.

You didn't even try and now you leave. Why the hell did you even respond? You don't even care to understand, you just ignored everything i said. This is exactly why i said you didn't listen to me. Why wouldn't i be defensive? You are saying bs that isn't even what i was talking about in the first place. I was NEVER talking about how i respond to people, i was talking about how people are horrible to me. READ FOR ONCE.

I have empathy. It's the people calling my voice weird who don't have empathy. All I do is talk normally in my videos and people think I am some sort of freak because I am autistic. So thanks for being like them.
Really?!

If you think you're going to throw BEING ON THE SPECTRUM as a reason you're behaving the way you are now on this forum (or in your own comment section), you're talking to the wrong guy as I've been diagnosed on there as well. So, your point is completely moot.

If I can deal with it, so can you. Do NOT play the VICTIM CARD here.

Instead of pointing fingers at everyone else on how they need to adjust their behaviours, how about you start by pointing that thumb to yourself and acknowledge you can take steps to address the issue. Admitting there's a problem is the first step to solving any issue; you're clearly not there yet.

Frankly, if you want nice comments on the video, you must show that you care for your subscribers. Regardless of how dumb their comment might be, you must show that you care for your community by respectfully responding to them. Remember, you need them and not the other way around. They will happily find another content creator who is in the same niche as yours! If you don't want to reply to their "comments", learn to ignore those questions rather than insulting/dropping off such a comment that might hurt their feelings and ego, and that will end up with them not returning to your channel, will, in long term just hurt your channel growth and stability.
Perhaps time to close this thread, @Nody | Team TB

Me being autistic is the reason people hate my voice, again you didn't read. I am just trying to tell you how you are not reading my replies. Im not talking about those comments i am talking about people making fun of me for how my voice sounds. I sound like this because i am autistic. Why are you not getting this? Why do i have to write an entire book to people?

I am tired of people not listening to me. Yet i didn't ask about how i should respond to people. So maybe don't try to help when you aren't going to anyway? Again, i don't want them as my audience. Please read.

Ello! This discussion is going nowhere at this point. Instead of telling people to stop "trying" here, you should rather focus on understanding their perspective.

@Squishy If you're really looking to get some advice or feedback, you need to respect people's opinions, irrespective of how much you disagree with them. I understand your point and your question related to "How you can get nice comments," but it's a universal fact that you simply can't get nice comments when you can't respect your audience in the first place. As I said earlier, if you're really looking to get a nice comment on your videos, you need first to embrace "the dumb comments" that you usually get on your videos. Irrespective of how dumb those comments are, you need to maintain your calm and act as a businessman because, the way I see it, YouTube or any social media platform is a business if you're planning to grow your community or your presence. You can't grow unless you treat your followers or subscribers nicely.

All i do is talk about whatever the topic of the videos is and i get weird and horrible comments like this, I'm not attacking anyone, I'm just talking about a video game or whatever and people think i am some freak. I don't get how you don't understand what i am talking about here.

If they're provoking you by talking otherwise or making fun of your voice, be a bigger man and ignore those comments. If a few subscribers or watchers are treatin' you badly, it doesn't mean you will mistreat or consider all of your watchers are like that. That's not how it works. If someone is making fun of your voice, you have features or tools at your disposal that helps you to delete those comment and add an additional layer of security to your comment that blocks or restricts the offensive comments.

You know what? I have been to your place once, and I understand what you are going through ( voice mostly ). Of course, it gets quite frustrating, but when you stop giving them satisfaction and make them understand whatever they say or do, it will not bother you; that's when they will stop provoking you. Now, this isn't something anyone will say, but if they make fun of you, you should comment something funnier or just laugh it off! It sounds dumb, but that's how you can tackle "negative" comments or people.

Now do note that you shouldn't change who you're just because some people are making fun of you; embrace it and move on. You have thousands of subscribers, I suppose? And if it weren't for your unique skills and abilities, you would have never reached the point you're at. So don't let them demotivate you here, and at the same time, DON'T MISTREAT YOUR OTHER SUBSCRIBERS! Trust me! These dumb subscribers/ or ones who comment on such silly questions will be your long-term subscribers! You need to be really neutral when you reply to them. Remember, the customer is always right, and they're your customers! You're making content for them, and when they give you any feedback or ask you something, just pretend they know nothing! If they're dumb, let them be; you can be smart and just answer it calmly, or ignore the question altogether if you feel they're just questioning you for the sake of trolling.

Now, this is something I can advise you; whether you want to take the advice or not, it's up to you.

To conclude, there isn't anything we can advise at this point; Of course, I will let this thread open for a bit more to see if you can find any more answers from our community related to the ways you can tackle and get nicer comments, but frankly, there's no "strategy" for that. People are going to be commenting on what they feel about you. All we can do is just ignore those negative comments, or ; just reply to them in a tactical manner so they eventually stop.

P.S. While I understand you might be frustrated, I don't tolerate disrespectful behavior toward our community members. So, a humble request: if you don't like someone helping you out, that's fine, but don't simply say that the person shouldn't be replying to this or stop trying to help you. They're free to comment whenever they want in this forum; we don't restrict people where they should interact.

I already respect people. It's them not representing me. That is the problem here. I am talking about the audience not seeing me as a person. How do I ignore a constant? It's every comment I get. They aren't even trying to help. I'm not talking about dumb ones I am talking about the abuse. The customer is always right? So they are right that I am annoying and crying in my videos?

If they're way crossing the lines of abusiveness, you can report such comments or users to YouTube. There's always a workaround. Just want to confirm, Are you a YouTube Partner? If so, you can just reach out to their chat support, share those comments with them, and report them.

Unfortunately, that's how most Internet platform works. People have freedom of speech, and they can definitely share or express their opinions on a video or anything that you put on a public forum. Most of them abuse such rights or freedom of speech and attack people; the least we can do is fight them or give them a reply in a tactic manner or just report it to the officials so they can take action into this. There are millions of channel out there like you who faces such issues, and all they can do is just try to ignore those comment or just fight back by taking things into their hand ( which isn't recommended ) or taking it up to authorities. In this case, the best you can do is report such users or disable the comment section altogether if you can't tolerate their negativity.

My personal advice? Ignore them! If you have a baby voice/crying voice, fine! Nothing to be ashamed of; There are people who have unique accents or funny voices or crying voices, and they make tons of dollars out of it. It's the way you see things, not them. There will always be someone who will try to stop you or criticize the work you do! If they're giving you constructive criticism, appreciate them and work on those if you feel the need to. If you're getting trolls or abusive comments, or negative feedback, consider them as a barrier in your journey, and try to find the ways to overcome them or tackle them, mostly ignoring such negativity or reporting it will be the best.

All I do is report, remove, block, ect. It keeps coming back. Turning off comments only hurts the videos. I guess I could just stop making videos then, clearly no one want me.

I won't recommend that, but again, it's your channel, and you should do what your guts tell you to do! If you take such a comment seriously, you will never really reach anywhere, as that's how the world works. People have the tendency to pull others' legs down so they don't reach that success ladder, but if you try climbing up again and again, you will at one point attain success. For now, I'll recommend you take a short break and just think over ways you can overcome this issue. Nothing is impossible! Of course, things will take a while to get in order but am sure you will manage that!

That's it from my end! I wish you nothing but success! And our community is always here if you ever want to ask any questions. We can't guarantee that you will find the answer you're looking for, but you can at least get answers from other people's perspectives.

Thats the thing. I always climb back up, but once I thinks it's getting better someone or something has to ruin it. It's bs after bs. It's a never ending cycle of thinking its better but being pushed back down. I'm stuck in a loop of rubbish. I have taken breaks, so many. Still come back to more hate. All I want is something nice for once.
