Yes, read this forum Pay attention to the active threads and the posts that are stickied. Go to the TubeBuddy channel and watch their videos on how to use TubeBuddy. Then look at many of the friends of TubeBuddy - Nick Nimmin, Dee Nimmin, Daniel Batal and Roberto Blake and many more I'm forgetting right now.

Become a student of YouTube - study what makes videos work, what doesn't work. Experiment, you never know what might work unless you try. Plan, execute, analyze & adapt.

Twice that Nanonium said. Keep learning, try new moves, work on your quality and don't forget about constant changing.
Also try to find your unique style. If your content is not interesting to others it wouldn't bring you anything.

Watch every vdieo from about 2018/2019 onwards of the TubeBuddy Channel, and Nick Nimmin's channel. The value and knowledge is literally priceless.

But long story short, in my opinion, THUMBNAILS, TITLE and topic are the most important things to be learning about when you start.

You can't really convince someone to watch a video they aren't interested in. So you have to research your niche, the trends, and form good content based on that research, and a good cover will draw people in.
