Thumbnail Feedback Comparing two styles

Hey. Just wanting some feedback on two different style types.

Style 1 is what is currently being used:

Style 2 is what I'm thinking of changing too:

Basically just a clean design that lets the food do the talking. The specific pic I'm not worried about re: feedback, but the design in general. Does there need to be writing?

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

style 1 is right it has both text and image that will attract more subscribers and give your subscribers more context of that video
