This is a well put together list... i suggest for those just starting to print it out and tape it to the side of your monitor; solid list of best practices.

Good list there, I also agree to have it slammed next to our monitor, or even keyboard, although a couple of these may require some very careful steps, like number 8, but other than that, a good list of practices, I may even borrow said list and stick it where I can see it for myself
