Online forums specific to my niche... rather than being the general audience that is typical social media these are places where new viewers are specifically searching for what it is you make content about.

Same here. I had a very very small percentage of my Facebook friends actually subscribe to my channel. The idea about niche specific forums send like a better one. I've started contributing to questions on Quora that area in my niche and I think I got a few subscribers from there already.

i use telegram to promote my videos and instagram stories also supported my channel a lot.
