How do you ask for donations during a live stream.......

You can use something like Streamlabs or if you have enough subscribers then you can enable superchat and stuff

You need to have 1000 subscribers

and 4000 hours of watch time

And basically you can be monitized and now you can have superchat

This isn't a TubeBuddy question but a more general YouTube question so thread moved.

You can get superchat donations once you are monetised as above, or you can go with paypal in you description. Some channels have seen some success by going with "BuyMeACoffee" (google it to learn more) those are the best ways to allow donations.

I wouldn't put too much into ASKING for donations however because socially that's seen as begging and poor form. Vyyyper live did it the best, an hour into his streams he'd mention it quickly for a few seconds and left it at that.

I personally find it worrying when people only do YouTube for money, and generally the quality of the content reflects that.
