Hello! I have been wanting to do a live stream. However, I find it intimidating. I wanted to make my own house rules. What are your own rules that you would like to recommend in livestream aside from the community guidelines?
On the other hand, I noticed there are lots of livestream using a silent livestream but some says it is not allowed. What are your thoughts about it? I am confused. I would appreciate it a lot.

For starters I would highly encourage you to livestream ASAP! The only way to get over the intimidation of it is to get waste deep in livestreams. Get a few under your belt and you'll get the hang of it.

We don't have any 'house rules,' but I would suggest having a second phone or computer tuned into the livestream as a monitor... it allows you to see what your audience sees... glitches, shot-framing etc. Also helps increase watchtime and gives you that little icon of someone being in your stream. That alone will help attract viewers as well as encourages you to talk/be active at those times before everyone starts showing up.

Stanley knows his stuff about Streaming!

We at TubeBuddy have house rules, but we also have a large audience and new people frequently!

I'd say the best thing you can do is go live. That's what I did, and I haven't looked back. It might be scary at first, but just remember there are real people you're talking to, and they want knowledge, entertainment, etc. Give them that and you're golden!

You're welcome! What is your plan going forward? :D
bought new laptop today. When it arrives I GO LIVE!! but I don't know what to say and do? I don't want to look silly, if I do entertainment. Then educational like doing a follow up discussion about my videos? I don't think they watched it... crossing my fingers!!! "OHHHH no!!!" :scream:
