What microphone best for reaction video?

For reaction videos? I'm assuming it'll be a sit-down and watch kind of videos (I mean, how else do you do a reaction video other than standing out in the cold in Norway?).
I'd recommend the Rode mics like the Podcaster/Procaster, the NT1, or the NT-USB. On the cheaper side, I'd recommend an AT2020 or a Blue Snowball (but not a Yeti lol).

A great option. Also depending if your camera, you could use a lav mic which could connect directly to your camera a lot options!

Interesting story behind these microphones. This guy made these in his basement for years. I think he cobbled together various components from toys and actually built a very good microphone for little money. They are mass produced now, but you get the same quality because it's a very cost-effective microphone from a manufacturing standpoint.

NT USB is amazing, but I dare say a little unsturdy unless mounted on a mic stand. Mine has fallen off my desk several times. Great for travel, but I'm not so sure about the lightweight base in some situations. I'm kinda looking into the blueyeti.
I've been using the Samson Meteor as my travel mic. It's small and it sounds pretty good!

Again, one thing to consider too, is the environment you're recording in when purchasing these mics!
It's strange, I haven't treated my room (apartment) at all, but maybe because I'm on carpet between a couch and some curtains help. But I've kinda seen that the closer you are to the microphone means you don't always have to worry about the environment... unless you're talking in a heavily tiled or echoy area I guess.
Pretty spot on, but even if it's close it can't fix the distractions a bad environment can cause, sometimes you don't hear them until you're in the edit :X
