if you check out "the urban explorer" he's got quite a nice little setup now. Go Pro hero 8 I think, with an external mic mounted to the side, and a little led lamp at the top, all housed in a nice little housing to make vlogging easy. He's only just got it together so he may or may not do a video about it in the future.

I use a Canon g7x Mark 2 for my vlogs and the internal mic on it is really good, only downfall is that the mic is on top of the camera so you just have to be careful not to cover it.
