I always love Miso Soup and Mongolian Beef. That said, I'm a big fan of all kinds of cultural food, so it's really hard to narrow down a specific, but I've always loved Miso Soup, and I absolutely love nigiri and unagi nigiri
For sure. Miso soup is great. I live close to a small Japanese restaurant that serves the best in my opinion.

New add. The spelling will be off (tatzeki?) but it’s like a waffle cake with taro or nuttella in it shaped like a fish. Sold at boba places, I think it’s ok but my daughter is acting like a crazy person over them

There’s not a lot of talk about German food. German cuisine is what I consider comfort food, which consists of fresh, high-quality ingredients, relying heavily on bread, potatoes, meat, and spices. A lot of recipes are similar to American recipes but have small differences.

For example, Germans also eat apple pie or mac and cheese, but it’s not the same recipe as the traditional US recipe. German cuisine was also inspired by traditional foods from France or Austria. I think the reason I like German food is that it’s so diverse. I mean, you can check any menu from German restaurants like https://www.riwa-restaurant.de/de/ to see how many unique dishes they offer.

If I had to narrow it down I would choose Mexican street food or Japanese.

That said, my first wife was Korean and I have two half-Korean daughters so if we were ranked by the amount of a specific ethnic food I've eaten, Korean would win.
I have some issues with the use of "ethnic food" but I catch your meaning. I am an ethnic Jew from New York, as a framing device for this question. Barbecue Ribs and Cheeseburgers are not "ethnic food" (I can't stand this terminology) relative to my experience. Latkes are like a snack to me relative to someone else probably. All that said, I will say Mexican Chicken Mole is my top dish from a culture I am not a participant of directly.
