I am trying to figure out two bits of the mysterious behavior in my YouTube videos. Some do well and some dont but the metrics dont seem to tally and Im left scratching my head.
Here are four videos—two pairs in a sense. The first two are very similar to each other. Both are panel discussions with the same people and a similar topic. Yet the one that did well had poorer metrics in pretty much every case. How can a video that has fewer likes and a lower click-through rate, do better?
The next 2 videos (video 3 and 4) are more science documentary styles. They did similar to each other but after the first 5 days the last video got practically no views ( 100 in a year) whilst the previous one (video 3) kept on going and now has almost 41k after less than a month. In the first case the issue is clearly impressions from Youtube but why did one get so much more than the other? The second issue is longevity. Can anyone figure out what is going on?

Any clues as to what is going on would be most welcome, thanks.
