How to speed up parts of your video

Hi. Would anybody know how to speed up parts of your video. Example. If I make an art video. How do I speed certain parts of it up so that they don't have to watch every detail for so long. Thanks

In your video editor, make a split right before the section you want to speed up, then make a split at the very end of the section you want to speed up. This will effectively make a new clip of just a section you want to speed up. Highlight this section and choose your speed tool and increase the speed to say 50%, and try to 75%, or whatever speed it is that makes it fast on screen to the speed that you want it to play.
