I have had a channel set up for a few years. I want to livestream our daughter's volleyball games for family and friends who are requesting to watch. So I went on a campaign to gain subscribers last week (reaching out to mostly family and friends). I am at 85 subs, my channel is verified, everything is enabled (to my knowledge), and I do NOT have any restrictions in the past 90 days (or ever, for that matter). When I click the (+) button and try to go live, (using a Samsung S23 Ultra), YT gives me a message saying "Almost There! Try creating Shorts to reach 50 subscribers and unlock like streaming". But I am well over their 50 required subscribers. The only thing I can think is that because my subscribers are all relatively new, it takes a while before they are recognized maybe? Does anyone know what is going on?
