YouTube Question Sharp drop in views and subscriptions

I have run the channel for around 3 weeks only, and had really a lot of views, almost 40K already! but since 2 days ago the views and subscriptions stalled almost completely. It seems this is not normal.

What can that be?

I did change this things the same day:
- Installed Tubebuddy!! (is this the reason??)
- Added a new cover/branding (changed that back already)
- uploaded a youtube short with bad performance.


And, please write as well what reasons I can exclude to be the cause of the drop in views.

it depends on various factors. Also depends on the popularity of the topic. Internally, the interest of your video may fade over time. check if your ave. view duration or CTR is dropping?
