YouTube Tips Grow old channel or create a new one? Fake views ruined my channel

Hi friends, here is the situation/problem: I have (according to comments of my subscribers) good channel and good, informative videos on personal development, psychology and self growth. It was all good, but I used some promotion service, believed it will be real audience, but retention was smaller the 30 sec and that ruined my analytics, then I was discouraged and I stopped producing videos for 1 year.
Then I got back because I have so much information and inserting thing to share, I started producing more helpful videos, but reach is so low :sob: I guess it is because algorithm thinks people are not intrested because of my mistake with promotion.

So, is it possible for me to grow if I keep producing videos without any paid promotion? Or it is better to start new channel? Have you been is similar situation?
Here you can see my latest video:

And here is my channel: https://www.youtube.com/@selfclarityacademy/videos

Thank you for responses in advance :)

Hello Sanja,
what is your click-through rate for the videos? I just looked at your channel and I find your thumbnails sometimes very overloaded, sometimes with a lot of text that is too small or unclear. For example, in the video "How to Boost Happiness Hormones..." why do we see you in front of a microphone with your face half hidden? Does that match the title? What emotion should the thumbnail create? You also often see books that you cut into the video as b-rolls where a face with an emotion shown would fit much better. Engage your audience more in an emotional way if it's appropriate. Closeups of the face with emotions as b-roll, perhaps also as slomotion or e.g. Switch between wide, mid and closeup shots. In my opinion, you should notice a difference with better thumbnails and more emotions.

Best regards
Flo

Don't make a new channel. Rather work on your old channel and I guess start with google ads first so that people could get aware about you and your videos and then if you continuously create quality content then you will automatically receive views and subscribers.
