YouTube Question Big drop in money over festive period?!!

Hi All

I notice that my monitsation has dropped by about 18% over the festive period, which was also the same the year before.
I tried to understand from YouTube directly, but they give a very convoluted answer, instead from external research I found that during the festive time, the adverts placed on ads take a drop which means the money you earn goes down. Hopefully it will increase again in the spring.

Anyone else find this?

i've read on other forums that there is around a 20% drop due to lack of advertising after Christmas. So my thoughts are to not post new videos in January until things pick up, what do you think?

My earing dropped as well by around 15% in Dec, and Jan. When does this get normalized?
