Thumbnail Feedback Which design is better to use on YouTube videos?

Hello folks,

I was wondering which thumbnail design I can use on YT videos.
I have 3 designs (from left to right):

1. The old design that I've used from 2022 to 2023
2. The new design that I'm using right now from 2023
3. The less is more design

If you have better ideas, please let me know.

Well, in my opinion, the first one looked pretty good, maybe the text could be a bit smaller or less because what you really want is the image behind it which is what the content is about. Also maybe the pic should be a bit brighter, looks really dark. The second one is

I'm wonder what your are going to say about the second one 'cause your sentence suddenly ends. But I will take your feedback about the first thumbnail into account when creating future thumbnails.
