anyone have a good strategy on obtaining more backlinks? i understand reaching out and commenting on sites works. are there any other free forums that will not be against the rules to post our content?

This is a great thing to talk about. It seems self-promotion is a no-no on so many social forums/reddit/discord pages, and I understand why. I think possibly the best way to get backlinks is to approach whoever you want to backlink you and offer value for doing so. You could also do a collab with someone and backlink each other.
