I keep seeing across the YouTube platform that shorts are a channel killer and since then, I've stop posting shorts just to be on the save side because the community is divide about. Is there anyone here who has the real info?

I have been creating shorts for about 6 months now, I try to produce the beginning of my full video with the first 60 secs as interesting as possible to engage the viewer, this way I can simply use it with my phone to create a short!

In my opinion,you can create your long form content post it then clip the part you want as a short an repost it

I've found the same thing through testing. If you shorts are hurting your channel then you need to rethink you strategy instead of blaming it on the format of the video.
