Answered Duplicate tags not removing

Sometimes when I look at my tags there is a duplicate. I go to the Sort button, remove duplicates (it does), Apply and Close - the duplicate is still there. If I try to delete the extra tag from the tags window, it doesn't delete the duplicate, but seems to delete a different tag. This is using latest version of Chrome.

Any advice?
