Title of thread: Recently started out on YouTube but don't know where I'm going wrong.
Self review: So I think my style is good, I think the page and thumbnails are eye catching and think my videos are edited quite well and progressively get better. There is a lot of work to do moving forward but I think because I'm so close to the project I'm blind to where I'm going wrong. I try and release a long form video every couple of weeks and shorts a couple of times a week. I've found my videos are only getting around 150-200 impressions or shown in feed and roughly a 35-40% view rate which I don't think is bad. All this is within the first couple of hours and then goes dead.

Hi!

Okay i might not be your best audience as I know nothing about pokemon cards but Ill share my honest feedback!

To keep doing more of:
- This video
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EOZ9ikKVJ0
was very engaging because a) it was an unexpected setting and b) you opened up and made me curious and c) it's just unique
- Maybe you can do this theme of longform videos where you go to random places and open cards!
- This short https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vtK7z0aMHPc was great because of the transitions and music. music wasnt too crazy, so it was letting me focus on the cards and the transitions were strong yet you gave enough time between transitions for us to really look at the cards. keep doing the same style transition, do a few of these videos!
- card close ups!
- less busy background when showing the cards

To modify or get rid of:
- The crazy fast forwarded music was too distracting on this short https://www.youtube.com/shorts/jkAfIB6OcSM
- The thumbnails could be cleaned up a bit more!
- Keep posting!

I hope this helps, good luck!

Tha k you do much for your feedback and for taking the time to go through my channel. I have taken your shorts advice and have modified/remade the short you mentioned and I plan to upload this this evening to gauge the reaction on YouTube and hopefully if you see it you can let me know of its a better video.
Thank you
