YouTube Question Shorts Descriptions

Hi. I noticed today when viewing youtube shorts that viewing descriptions doesn't seem to be working. Click on the description and it opens the description window. I can't
view the description of any shorts on any channel. Is it just me or are others having this problem too? Thanks! I should add that in the example below there is a 2000 character description.

I am not facing any problems like this. I think some people don't write description for Shorts. Maybe they are not bothered about SEO, so they write few words, and that's it.

Thanks much for your reply. True. This behavior seems new however. The video from the image I shared for example has a 2000 character description.
