YouTube Question How many allow other creators to Sample and Remix their content?

Do you allow other creators to Sample (Remix) your content?

  • Yes I do and I have seen it bring in some new traffic.

  • Yes I do, but I have not seen any benefit from it.

Back a while ago, YT slipped in this little feature called "Sampling" which allowed other creators to use your content on their videos. YT made this ability default for all videos unless you disable it on each video you upload manually. They now call it "Remixing" but it is the same. Initially, there was little information about it, but since then YT has made it clear that if people remix your content, you will get attributed for it in the video, and that this is a way to bring in some new viewers to your channel.

So, I am wondering how many people allow other creators to remix their work, and if so, have you seen any traffic from allowing this?
