Long videos with short content

I've noticed a trend in pimple popping videos where the video is over an hour long but there's ten minutes of relevant content. This abruptly ends, then theirs ages of random stuff - agricultural equipment or plastering walls or origami... It's like the creator stole a video and recorded over the first ten minutes. But why?

I suspect they don't have original content. Perhaps they are trying to avoid the copyright system somehow. That's like adding coffee to a bag of cocaine, thinking the sniffer dogs can't tell the difference. It's a bad idea. Don't do it.
