YouTube Question How much should hiring a professional SEO specialist REALLY cost?

Me and my friend are working slowly at learning SEO ourselves, BUT, in the meantime, if we hired someone to help us, I was wondering if anyone can give me some information on what the real reasonable costs should be in order to help me know if I am being given the shaft by anyone?

At the moment, I envision that we would have them optimize each individual video as well as any such optimizing of our channel itself that might be needed.

I just want to be a bit educated on this before I hire anyone. I appreciate the feedback.

If you are asking about SEO for Youtube then I would say $25 per video is the average cost which works pretty good for me in the past but sometimes it really depends on the niche and the competition in your niche. I use to hire freelancers from Fiverr. But if you are looking for a long term then you can get it cheaper.

That is an interesting question... if someone were to hire me to do contract SEO for their YouTube videos I think my going rate would probably be between $25-$50 per video, depending on the number of videos, length of the contract, performance expectations etc.

If you are considering working with an SEO consultant, you should expect to spend over $100 an hour for a professional worth your time that can generate results for your business.

Honestly, SEO is just about not an issue anymore. TikTok and Instagram do not even have places for it. Today, video suggestions and recommendations are not based on SEO; they are based on AI data and a HUMAN reaction index. It's all about getting people to react. AI has become an expert at knowing how to do that. AI has billions of GBs of data about human reaction behavior all over the world and real-time information about what is trending. No human SEO expert can compete with that.
