A company asked us in their collab offer if we are happy to let them use our video in paid campaigns. Is this good or bad?

They are basically asking if they can use the video as an ad. That is a common request and one that the creator typically signs off on... part of the value that you bring to the table in a collaborative agreement is your ability to create video content that they can then in return use for their marketing purposes. You may even get some views out of it, depending on how they go about showing your content.

In the future it does warrant being mindful the use of your content by a brand. A more detailed contract would include considerations for how they are able to edit a video, the rights to your likeness etc. When you get to a point where you have lawyers draw up contracts all that will be in there.
