YouTube Help How am I getting average view length longer than my videos?

For my shorter videos I am seeing some of them reporting the average view length to be a minute or 2 over the actual length of the video. Is that a glitch?

That's not a glitch; that is reflecting that a lot of viewers are going back and rewatching portions of your videos. Those are exactly the numbers you need to aim for with shorter content (specifically Shorts). Getting a viewer to watch 2-3 times before they scroll on is critical for video performance.
