Title of thread: What can I do to improve the video overall?
Self review: Audience retention (and engagement with likes and comments) is something I care about more than the view count, since it tells me how engaging my video was and if I did a good job making it, which is especially important since most of my work goes into making the highest quality videos I possibly can! Though if I am going to be honest about my work here, I definitely think the lack of retention may be because of my video's slow and lackluster start. I definitely could've used a better opener for the video and the scene with folded Princess Peach could've been shortened to help with pacing, but I'd also like to get some more opinions on my work since seeing things from other perspectives and learning what other people think will definitely prove to be a big help. I also would like some criticism on other aspects of the video as well, such as the thumbnail of the video, audio quality, seo, etc. While I am mainly focused on retention, I think any and all help I can get in terms of my video's performance will be very much appreciated! And yes, I do know I should try and post more videos, but don't worry because I am in fact working on that as we speak. I can't entirely guarantee that my pace will pick up quickly since that's something only time will tell, and I've only recently gained more confidence in what I make, but I am doing what I can to make my channel as successful and efficient as it can possibly be. I'm not sure what else I should say here, truth be told, so I will say thank you to anyone taking the time out of their day to read this, and that hopefully I will be able to implement what I may learn from the reviews here soon.
