Well, the channel started as a commentary account for a friend where we didn't want my other channel on it so as to not give her competition but she stopped youtubing so I turned it into a niche channel last month. It's funny because I removed some videos from my main channel that had a hard time ranking and put them here and guess what? 10 times the views (1000 views in a month here vs. 100 there in at least a year - same kind of keywords, etc. my other channel just doesn't get recommended no matter what.) I did this actually as proof my other channel doesn't rank but now I think I will also keep it.
