Catfishing with cane pole is simple. Here's my rig:

• 20 lbs line for the pole
• 18 lbs lead core main line
• 12 lbs line for your terminal end

Use your favorite bait, lure or fly, and drift up some blue catfish this summer. Since cane poles are hollow, they float when tossed overboard. Add a brightly colors swimming pool noodle for added viability, and you can, and you can jug fish without the hassle of chasing jugs everywhere.
