YouTube Question Why ads showing

Hello Comunity

I own a welding channel and it was created just for fun and I uploaded 2 videos regarding welding products. The videos are getting daily 10-15 views from USA but one thing I'm bit confused that why it's showing ads at the start of video. My channel is not monetized then why it's happening?

YouTube has the right to put ads on any video including ones that are not monetized by the channel owner.

Yep, Matts right. YouTube is a company, they are trying to make money, and because the own the plattform, they are allowed to put ads on any video, they don't have to pay you for it unless you're in the partner program. You should also check if you have copy right claims, I believe I made a mistake with music on one of my videos and now youtube runs ads on it.
