Dear TubeBudy Community,
IΓÇÖm a fresh content creator with a travel YouTube channel, closing in on my 1000 subscribers.
The special thing about my channel is that I travel through South America with just my iPhone and iPad. These are the tools I use for my content creation and editing. I do not own a computer or Mac. I also donΓÇÖt need one, because everything is possible without it, everything but TubeBuddy.
Apple released browser extensions for mobile devices last year and i was hoping that now TubeBuddy would start making your plug-in for mobile safari. That way we would be able to use your service and pay for the better plans. I understand there are limitations for what is allowed within the apple expo system, but offering some basic browser extension features would already upgrade the TubeBuddy experience on mobile.

I think now and in the future there will be many more content creators who will make the move to mobile only. Investing into these mobile browser extensions, you are investing in mobile filmmakers. IΓÇÖm sure many other people in the communety would enjoy being able tu use the Tubebudy services on their iPad, iphone or other mobile devices.

IΓÇÖm looking forward working with you once that feature is available. Thank you for considering. best regards, Paul

You are preaching to the choir... I would LOVE to have TB access in our Mobile browsers. I am afraid that it is Apple/Android that do not permit browser extensions on the mobile web browsers.

Thank you Stanley. The reason why im bringing this up now Is, that apple now allows browser extensions on mobile. So technically it iss possible now for TB to create a browser extension. It might not have the full functions of the desktop version but it is a great start.

The Kiwi browser on Android mobile seems to work with some PC browser extensions. But it is still a far cry from full extension functionality.

Let's be honest, even the TB mobile app needs a lot of work. Of course, personally, I find all mobile applications to be a far cry from full-fledged websites or desktop programs. Mobile is just more convenient and people on the go have no choice, but you will have to pry my cold dead fingers off my gaming desktop and 24" 4K monitor. I use a phone and tablet when on the go, but every day I run into dozens of things that just don't work as well on mobile as they do on a real computer. There simply is no better as of yet a way to interface with a computer than a physical keyboard and a mouse, for real work. Yes, it can all be done on mobile devices and touchscreens, but it is more clumsy and the current generation of apps and mobile sites are clumsy, or just a really trimmed down version of the desktop website.
This battle between desktop and mobile computing is causing real problems for backend programmers. So many people that are mobile-only, want the same fully-fledged out functions that desktop users enjoy. The problem is, it is WAY more difficult and complex to accomplish this on the mobile platform, and the driving force behind development is Business, not retail users. Go to any major business like AT&T and you won't find employees working on smartphones. They will be behind a desktop computer with a keyboard and a mouse.

Every company in the world looks like the above picture and this is where software developers make the mojority of their money. Yes, there are billions of smartphone and tablet users, but the portion of them that are using them for actually real serious Buisness development is minute. They may use them for communication, but for real serious development, almost 100% of it is done on a destop computers.

My point is this. The day may come where you may get all the things you want on your smartphone, but considering that you can buy a great laptop for less than you can buy a smartphone, why not just buy one and get the things you want today?
