I am a beginner and am using my phone for recording but my phone camera is a let down.what camera app can I atleast use to improve

The best thing you can to do improve is to buy and read "How to Shoot Video That Doesn't Suck" by Steve Stockman. Your gear doesn't matter. You have to learn to communicate with motion picture.

Hi , I had to invest in a Iphone 12,my daughter has a Iphone 13,the quality of image is very good. Sorry but I do not know of any app that maY be helpful.

I am not sure what phone you are using but if the phone is less than 3 years old, lots of problems can be solved by good lighting and a creative setting. Most people will need to invest in lighting if you record indoors. They will include a ring light at minimum.
