Does anyone else see youtube as an external source? What does this mean? If external source means finding it outside of youtube, than how does youtube get listed as an external source? Does anyone know?

Does anyone else see youtube as an external source? What does this mean? If external source means finding it outside of youtube, than how does youtube get listed as an external source? Does anyone know?
I hovered my mouse over the info icon and this is what it says about YT as an External source. It is still unclear, I know.
