YouTube Question First 200 characters questions

It's impossible to put the important keywords in only 200 characters. I have two small channels so I need to go for the long-tailed keywords, but not only that, but I need to make it make sense for the viewer. Consider this; we only get 500 characters for all of our keywords, but to have to put them in sentences in only 200 characters is impossible. I can get them in, but I like the description to be engaging, not just a bunch of phrases. If it looks like garbage at the top, they'll never get to my affiliate links at the bottom. How to manage this?

What I have been doing, and I do not know if is right... I do my keyword research, and make a list with the scores. The top keyword will be in the title. The top 2 keywords I will try and work into the first 2 or 3 sentences of the description. Then I put those top keywords in the tag area, and add in any other keywords that ranked fairly well. I could find no way to use more than 2 keywords (or key phrases) in the description and still make any sense. If I tried to add more, it would look like keyword stuffing.
