YouTube Question Should I change my channel name?

We named our Channel The Adventures of Rachel and Michael before we even envisioned that other people would want to watch our travels and hijinks. We did it mostly for our family BUT now we have several others watching our channel and when we meet people they ask the channel name they seem to have trouble remembering it as I'm repeatedly asked for it during our meetings. We are thinking of changing it to Ramblin Reardon's.. We could use the R&R logo and such.
I did some research and see that I wont loose my subscriber when changing the name are there any other issues I should be aware of ?

You can change it put I'd say you could shorten it down.
eg R&M Adventures
That's my two cents and just remember when you hit triple digits you can have a custom url for your youtube channel (if I recall correctly)

Unless people know you already, you are probably going to have to explain "Ramblin vs. Rambling" and spell out "Reardon" also. Generally, you want to test out the name verbally, not just in written form. If people are going to misspell any part of your channel name in their attempt to search for it, it is an obstacle. To me, something like "Rachel & Michael Travels" is easier. Everyone knows how to speak Rachel, Michael, and Travels. "Adventure" is okay but it is a LONG word for someone to type in to search. I prefer words that are shorter because they are easier to remember and type.

I think you should. It is quite long and both Rachel and Micheal are names that have many variations on spelling, increasing the likelihood of misspelling. I like the Kitchen Gammer's recommendation of "R&M Adventures ". I also agree with Matt that Adventures is a little long. Choosing a good name is crucial. You have to not only think about the name but how logos and things will look if you plan to try to create a brand. The name does not always have to be descriptive. Maybe something like "RV Hijinks". It's catchy. Or you could go with a Mandalorian spin with something like "This is RVing"

Good points made by all. all of those names are free on the tube at this time. some URL's are already taken so a website would not be possible. short and catchy seem to be better ideas.

You're at the early stages of your YouTube journey so this is the perfect time to make any changes to the channel (channel name, genre, branding, etc). Most people never really think about the name at first. It's probably why YouTube waits till you have at least 100 subs before giving you your custom URL. Gives us a chance to reconsider if a name change will be beneficial before it becomes permanent. I should know. It happened to me.
