Hi,
I wondered if anyone else has seen this problem before.
I've been in the process of removing my titles from some of my older videos because I've seen having titles in my videos has turned people off, thus affecting my retention. On most of the videos, using the online editor tool in the Youtube dashboard has worked really well, but on two videos something odd has happened.
When playing back the processed videos in the dashboard everything is fine. But if I play them back within Youtube itself, the audio and video track are no longer sync'd as if the audio part has been trimmed out, but not the video part. If this really has happened then the editor tool has mucked up two of my videos which I'll have to reload. Luckily neither will majorly affect my watch hours, but they look really silly now.
Has anyone else had this problem with the editor tool. If it's not reliable, then I'm not going to risk using it.
***NOTE*** It's a known issue apparently. If it occurs there are three dots top right of screen. If you click on it you'll see an option "Revert to Original" and that will remove any edits and restore the video without having to reupload.
