I am a Programmer and Sometimes it's hard for me to know what to write in the Video description when I upload a video simply because I find myself explaining everything that's in the video.

The question is what should I actully write in the description part of the video .

You don't explain everything. You just write a few natural-sounding sentences to someone a clue what the video is about preferably using SEO friendly words and phrases. But don't sound like a robot. Answer the question: what is the video about? Write in in 3-4 sentences. That is what gets displayed in YT search results.

However, people do all kinds of things in their description area. Go browse around some established channels to get ideas.

That's what I did with my old videos, I changed the titles and tags to more specific & catchy descriptions--- and it amazingly increased in views!
