YouTube Question Has youtube updated their notifications?

I have recently noticed a difference in my notifications from youtube. I am now getting recommendations and I am also getting notifications from channels that I am subscribed to, but have not clicked the bell on. Has something changed that I missed? Is anyone else seeing this too?

I have received some recommendation notification on YouTube from the channel I watched 3 -5 videos and I Didn't subscribed the channel . I think some algorithm giving recommendation notification

I haven't experienced that, but I have a couple of channels where I have all notifications turned on and I'm not getting notified when they upload. However, there are some channels I have "personalized" set and I get notified of their content often.
