Question comment management

Hi folks,

I'm running into some issues with youtube comment management.

I sometimes seem to "lose" comments when I go looking for them.

For instance, someone may leave a comment (new or reply) and I will get an email from Youtube showing me their comment.

But when I go to youtube, the comment isn't there.

I know this is a youtube issue and not a tubebuddy issue. But I looked up some videos on tubebddy's comment management and really liked what i saw with filtering and such. But my issue is that if I click on the "comment" line in my tubebuddy menu - the resulting screen that I get does not look anything like what I'm seeing in the videos. And I am at legend license level. So I want to make sure I m using my tools as best as I can as I begin to determine my comment management strategy.

Have there been changes that result in some of the things in the videos being rolled back?

Are you sure you don't have any filters set in the Comments section of your YouTube Studio that are hiding them? By default, I believe it shows only comments you haven't responded to. The comments could possibly be in the Held for Review tab on that same page if you haven't looked. If none of this helps, hopefully Stanley or someone else has the fix for you!

I have had that happen quite often. It seems to be a YT issue, not a TubeBuddy issue.
Comments show in the notification, but not in the comment section. At first I assumed the missing comments were deleted by the user - but it happens often enough I am not sure that many people delete their own comments. I have never figured it out.

It is possible they were pulled for review (and may come back in a few days?). Also possible they got moved to the 'Held For Review' folder? I've noticed YouTube comments can be really weird... their notification system is similar.
