What do you think about the change to the DISLIKE button on YouTube?

Since the dislike numbers haven't appeared on my channel for about about a week or two, I have noticed that less people click on it now and the like percentage has been higher.
It probably frustrates the Trolls in that they cannot see that dislike number increase due to their click.
Another good thing about it NOT being there anymore is that HATE attacks on a video are no longer effective, or at least cannot be seen by the public.

I thought it was about a halfway fix. Either leave the system alone, or remove dislikes completely. Making them no longer visible seems like a daft move.
That being said... I just noticed today that the dislikes are visible again. Not sure what is going on.
