YouTube Help Channel name problem

Hello guys,

I am having problem which have followed me since beginning of my YouTube channel. At very beginning when I created the channel I named my channel using underscore mark '_' in my channel name (example: Ans_Hjelm Restoration). I used it only few days since I decided to change the name to simple 'Anshjelm Restoration'. The problem is I still keep seeing my channel name with that underscore used even I have changed the channel name long time ago (10-12 months ago). It's not always spelled wrong in my own channel page but mostly when I see someone new to go check my channel for the first time, the wrong spelling is there.

Is this some kind of a bug or do I still need to do some reset or something?

I find this problematic because it confuses subscribers or possible subscribers and I don't personally like that underscore spelling look in my channel name. Have you ever meet somelike problems or do you know what to do to get rid of it?

Thank you! :)

Generally speaking, changing channel names is easy but there does seem to be a delayed effect with any name changes.

Having said that, I just did a Youtube search on 'Anshjelm Restoration' and it looks correct to me. It does NOT have an underscore. You may want to delete/reset the cache within your web browser or do a search with a different web browser.

I think you are good to go!

Thank you for your effort and answer. Good thing that the name was correct when you searched it. I will try clear the cache if that's the problem
