YouTube Help I have been inactive on my channel in last month. Will youtube de-rank my videos because of inactivity?

I have very old, inactive channels that continue to rack up views on certain videos because they were videos of public interest. However, I have far more videos that are dormant.

It all depends on the video content and how much people still are interested in the subject matter or content.

I am not that worried about stepping away from a channel for a couple weeks but I would want to inform my audience why I am taking and break and when I expect to come back.

Share your suggestion if you know anything about it.

Let me first ask this. Why were you inactive for a month?

I've been inactive on my channel for nearly 3 years now. Personal problems have kept me from creating content. But, I always stayed on top of learning about Youtube so when I do get to uploading again I'll have more knowledge.
