User name: RandomFandomOfficial
Title of introduction: Technology/Gaming Channel, with some other random content thrown in.
Your name/ Alias: Random Fandom
Where are you from? The United States of America (unfortunately in a rural area with really bad internet)
How did you find TubeBuddy? YouTube/Web search
What made you join the TubeBuddy forums? Make some friends, learn about TubeBuddy and expand on my skills, maybe do some collabs.
What would you like to accomplish with your channel: For fun mainly, to inform people about technology... and to be self-employed.
How frequently do you upload? Usually once a week. (sometimes more, sometimes less. I've been taking a bit of a break though, but am looking to return soon)
What are your hobbies? Gaming (mainly older shooter games, since there's no P2W/Gambling mechanics), tinkering with technology, listening to music, meet new friends, outdoors.
What is your biggest dream? To become a full time, self-employed content creator/streamer... and to make a difference in the world we live in.

My advice to new creators...

1. Don't just do YouTube, consider joining other platforms such as Twitch and Odysee/LBRY. You never know when your channel could get banned. Just because your content is about safe topics, doesn't mean you are immune to power abuse from YouTube.

2. Use tools like restream.io to do multiplatform streaming! This ties into point 1a.

3. Be consistent. Upload videos and schedule them so they come out at the same day and time every week.

4. Edit your videos and make good thumbnails.

5. Don't clickbait.

6. Don't worry too much about your analytics.

7. Make friends IRL and share your channel with them... maybe do a collab with them too.

8. Do your research. You can find ways to save money on your YouTube gear by using what you may already have. For example, you can use a smartphone as a Stream Deck when starting out (saving around $150 or so).

9. Use TubeBuddy. lol Even the free version, while very limited has some useful tools. Maybe you you get enough people to install it, you can get you that sweet Legendary License for free! *wink wink*

10. Don't make your videos like mine. lol my videos suck! That's just my opinion though. xD
