YouTube provide captions for videos published to the platform. Normally these captions are autogenerated using Google's AI to pull the speech from your video and convert that to text. This of course is not always very accurate. So YouTube gives you the ability to edit and translate the auto-generated captions. Doing so is encouraged and will give you the green check for your Best Practices.
To add/edit captions simply go to your Video Details page and select 'Subtitles' on the left side of the screen. This will take you to your captions screen, where you can edit your auto-translated captions and translate them accordingly.
