YouTube SEO Should I SEO my older video's?

Hey.
I got on the TubeBuddy wagon recently, and I start using the tools for SEO on my 2 latest videos. Which seems to be a good idea.

My question is, as the title says.

Is it worth the time to do SEO on my older videos? -I have around 35 videos that could be optimized.

I would say that it's never a bad idea to try to optimize your old videos if they are lacking optimization and not getting many views.

If they are not getting much attention, it cannot hurt. It may not help... but it will not hurt. If it is only 35 that should be pretty easy.

Yes! And do it now before your total videos grow to a number that would discourage you from doing it.

There is an example if you expand the topic, that someone loses 60%+ watching time because of it.

My advice
look at videos with a low CTR / Impression rate

So long as you have the time I think it is definitely worth going back and optimizing older videos. They have a second life waiting for them and you may re-invigorate them to top the search ranks and infuse a totally new flow of search traffic in doing so.

I would defiantly say yes. I went back after I got the tubebuddy membership and redid some titles and the descriptions. It brought in more views and a couple of new subscribers.
