YouTube Help how can i get more subscriber?

There is no short cut to getting more subscribers, content is king so focus on producing a lot of quality content and subscribers will come. Each new video is a new way for people to find your channel. If you have 10 videos that's 10 ways, if you have 100 videos that's 100 ways and if you have 1000 videos that's 1000 different ways people can find your channel.
As when it comes to the subscribing part thing about yourself, you probably watch YouTube daily but you only subscribe to a small amount of all the channels behind the videos you watch. What made you subscribe to the few channels you actually subscribed to and what made you not subscribe to the rest?
