Yes, simplify it. It is way too complicated. Any one of the pictures (I would use the most recognizable one) with a strong title would be more legible.

Yes, simplify and also try not to cover the other pictures too much. The text and overlays should be nice but not in the way. They should amplify the text without obstructing the image behind it.
