I'm trying to post 30 shorts in 30 days. A few of my shorts have apparently gotten on the shorts shelf. I know that the numbers are still tiny but it is still a bit of a thrill for me. So I spend way too much time looking at the analytics. I noticed that if a video does get on the shelf it starts earlier and earlier. Is this the algorithm learning? In each case below the green line is the same video. It is the first one that got on the shorts shelf. The first one didn't start to grow until almost day two. The next one was earlier (purple in the first graph). The next one (purple in the middle graph) started before the end of the first day the last one (purple in the last graph) was almost immediately. The shapes are also different. It is like it is trying to figure out what my audience is.
