What made you join the TubeBuddy forums? Trying to grow my new YouTube channel!
What would you like to accomplish with your channel: We are a mixed race couple, Husband American, Wife Filipino, documenting our life together in the USA New York metropolitan area with plans to transition to full time life in the Philippines.
How frequently do you upload? multiple time a week
What are your hobbies? Full time non clinical healthcare worker for 25 years, as far as hobbies, other than YouTube I've been a bass guitar player most of my adult life.
What is your biggest dream? Biggest dream is to retire early to the Philippines with my wife.

Welcome, Mike! When will you expatriate to The Philippines?

I'm an American expat living in Mexico. My girlfriend is Mexican and we live a full-time lifestyle in Mexico. That's not the focus of my channel, but it's one of the topics that I discuss sometimes.

Hi Kallen,
Mexico, nice my father wanted to retire there he never made it though sadly. We'll hopefully make the move permently in 6 years or sooner. the sooner the better. As soon as the arrival protocols there in the Phils become more realistic we'll resume or trips back and forth and document our preparations, house construction etc. How's life in Mexico? Filipino and Mexican culture are very similar, I'll bring my wife there for a visit one of these days!

Yes, Latin and Asian cultures are very similar in general. Besides some pandemic related shutdowns of outdoor activities, life in Mexico hasn't changed a whole lot. Life is still good here!

Its the Spanish influence, the Philippines and Mexico were both Spanish controlled at one time, some of the dialects in the PH have so much Spanish in it I was amazed, especially my wife's dialect. Knowing some Spanish I was shocked I could follow their conversations. Good to hear things are good there!

Hey Tito Tim! Thanks for the welcome man! We're Iloilo folks to! The Mrs. and I have been watching your channel for a while we love it, we're in your FB group to. We will be probably living in the Pavia/Santa Barbara area when we finally retire and make the big move. So we started a YT channel to document the slow transition from USA to PH and life there as it unfolds, trips back and forth etc. Great to see you in here, we've commented back and forth on your vids here and there, most recently about the hat. lol

I wish I vlogged my move. I had a blog at the time, did not think of YT back then. Bummer.

Thanks, one month into the channel, learning a lot, seems to be paying off. I wish I had thought of vlogging when I first flew to the Philippines to meet my wife, it was quite the adventure, we talk about it in one of our videos. As soon as the arrival protocols become more realistic we'll be flying in for a few weeks visit, losing hope on that happening this year, when we do finally get there my people will call your people for that lunch...lol
